Getting Started With Spin Driving School
Driver Theory Test
First you need to pass the Driver Theory Test before applying for a Learner Permit in the appropriate vehicle category.
Learner’s Permit
A Learner’s Permit will be issued when preparing for your driving test, after which you can apply for driving lessons.
Essential Driver Training
The EDT course is mandatory for driving test applicants. We conduct the course in 6 two hour lessons, or if need be you can choose 12 one hour lessons. Same material and qualified instructors. Choose what suits your schedule.

How Many Lessons Do I need?
It takes the average person 40 hours of supervised driving to be ready to take the RSA Driving Test! Your 12 EDTs (Essential Driver Training) and regular practice with your sponsor should have you test ready. These figures can look very intimidating from a cost point of view if you don’t have access to a car or sponsor for practice.
